What does ‘dry-hire’ mean?
You purchase the alcohol yourself using our custom shopping list. We bring the bar, the bartenders, the barware, and the expertise. This model keeps costs transparent and puts you in control of your alcohol budget.
Do you supply the alcohol?
No. As a dry-hire service, Proper Pour Co. does not sell, supply, or transport alcohol. We'll provide a precise shopping list tuned to your guest count and signature menu.
What’s included in the standard package?
One professional bartender, mobile bar setup, consultation, custom cocktail menu design (up to 2 signature cocktails), detailed shopping list, 4 hours of active service, 1 hour pre-event setup, and 1 hour post-event breakdown.
How far do you travel?
Standard service area is 25 miles from Murrieta with no travel fee. Beyond that, travel is tiered: 26–45 miles $95, 46–65 miles $175, 66–85 miles $285. Events beyond 85 miles are custom quoted.
Is there a minimum event length?
4 hours of active service is included. Additional service hours are $185 each.
Can guests tip the bartenders?
Gratuity is not included and not required. At weddings and most private events, tip jars are welcome on the bar. If you'd prefer no tip jar, a gratuity can be added to your final invoice. We'll discuss what fits your event during consultation.
Who provides the ice?
Ice is on your shopping list (typically 2 lbs per guest for a 4-hour event). Prefer to skip the ice run? Add Ice & Cooler Service: $125 for events up to 50 guests, $185 for 51–100, $275 for 101–175.
Do you require a contract and deposit?
Yes. A signed contract and 50% non-refundable deposit secure your date. Final payment is due 14 days before the event. A full contract is provided after consultation.
What if my guest count changes?
Final guest count locks 14 days before the event. Small adjustments within that window are usually manageable; larger changes may affect pricing.
What if the weather shifts or my venue changes?
We stay flexible. Let us know as soon as possible and we'll adjust setup together. Weather contingencies should be part of every consultation.

Based in Murrieta, we regularly serve Temecula, Menifee, Lake Elsinore, Wildomar, Fallbrook, Carlsbad, Oceanside, San Marcos, Escondido, Laguna Niguel, Mission Viejo, and throughout the Temecula Valley, North County San Diego, and South Orange County.
